When overhauling machines, it is often necessary to dismantle bearings installed in blind hole bearing housings. It is very difficult to take out this kind of old bearings. It is convenient and easy to use the blind bearing puller shown in the picture. The tool has the advantages of simple structure, easy manufacture, convenient use, low cost and perfect effect.

Structure and working principle of blind bearing puller
Mandrel 4 is made of cold-rolled steel bar stock, and its left end diameter will be greater than the internal diameter 4-6mm that wants to take out old bearing 6; Turning of the right end is processed to about 0.025-0.05mm smaller than the inner diameter of the bearing 6.Drill a more precise through hole in the center of the bar, and drill or turn a 60° tapered hole on the turned end face.Use a sheet milling cutter to mill out four grooves at 90° to each other on a milling machine (four grooves can also be cut out with a saw blade), the groove width is 2-3mm, and the length is 25-30mm. Choose a hexagonal head or inner hexagonal head bolt, its length should be 20-30mm longer than the mandrel 4, and the diameter should be able to pass through the hole of the mandrel 4 smoothly.Turn the bottom of screw inspection head 1 into a 60° cone angle. When screwing the nut 2, the lower cone angle of the bolt head will expand the right end of the mandrel 4, thereby firmly tightening the inner ring of the bearing 6, and hitting the retaining ring 3 with the impact ring hammer 5, and the bearing 6 was taken out.
operating procedures of blind bearing puller
When wanting to take out the old bearing 6 installed in the bearing seat, firstly put the processed bolt 1 through the hole of the mandrel 4,Then put the retaining ring 3 on the left end and screw on the nut 2, install the impact ring hammer 5 on the right end of the mandrel 4, then insert the right end of the mandrel 4 into the inner hole of the old bearing 6 in the bearing seat,Tighten the nut 2 to expand the right end of the mandrel 4, thereby firmly tightening the inner ring of the bearing 6. Hit the retaining ring 3 with the impact ring hammer 5, and the old bearing 6 installed in the bearing seat is taken out.
